Power Lines struck by truck
On Wednesday, 29 May 2024, at approximately 1030 hours, Millville Volunteer Fire Company responded to the 32000 block of Blackwater Road for wires down in the roadway.
Engine 84-2 responded with both volunteer and paid crew. Proper notifications were made by EMS Chief Jack Wilson. DEC utility company responded and rendered the road safe and reopened the roadway to vehicular traffic. Another priority call was being dispatched while units were still on this call.
Deputy Chief Paul Sterling was the commanding officer in charge.
