On Wednesday, 29 May 2024, at approximately 1051 hours, Millville Volunteer Fire Company responded to the 38000 block of Sandy Cove Road for a gas leak. Bethany Beach VFC was added to this call for service.
The tank was rendered safe, and all fire equipment returned to service waiting for their next call. Bethany Beach VFC Phil Brackin was the incident commander.
