On Sunday August 4, 2024 at 1624 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the Sussex County Paramedics were alerted for a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Clubhouse Road & Pine Street north of Millville.  Units arrived to find a two vehicle accident with several patients requiring evaluation.  Rescue 84, Engine 84-6, Command 84-8, Traffic Control 84-13, Ambulance A-84 and Ambulance D-84 made the response.  Units operated for approximately 30 minutes.  Fire Chief Walter Johnson had command of the incident.  The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for investigation.
