On Friday morning September 13^th, 2024 at 0726 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the intersection of Atlantic & Woodland Avenues in Ocean View for a reported motor vehicle collision.  Units arrived to find a two vehicle MVC with a total of three patients.  The initial EMS crews upgraded the call to ALS bringing Sussex County Paramedics to the scene.  An additional ambulance was requested bringing C-70 from the Bethany Beach VFC to the scene as well.  Two patients were transported to a local medical facility for evaluation and care.  Rescue 84, Traffic Control 84-13, Ambulance B-84 and C-84 made the response.  Career EMS Chief Jackie Wilson had command of the incident.  The scene was turned over to the Ocean View Police Department for investigation.  Units operated for approximately 30 minutes.
