Automatic Fire Alarm in a business in Ocean View

On Friday September 13th, 2024 at 1908 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the 100 block of Atlantic Avenue in Ocean View for an automatic fire alarm. Units arrived to find a malfunctioning smoke detector in a business. Engine 84-2, Engine 84-6 and Traffic Control 84-13 made the response. Units operated for approximately 15 minutes. Fire Chief Walter Johnson had command of the incident.
