On Friday September 13^th, 2024 at 1908 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the 100 block of Atlantic Avenue in Ocean View for an automatic fire alarm.  Units arrived to find a malfunctioning smoke detector in a business.  Engine 84-2, Engine 84-6 and Traffic Control 84-13 made the response.  Units operated for approximately 15 minutes.  Fire Chief Walter Johnson had command of the incident.
