On Monday October 14th, 2024 members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company visited the Learning Center Preschool on Parker House Road south of Ocean View to conduct fire prevention activities.  Sparky the Fire Dog was in attendance and was a big hit with all the children.  A “Friendly Firefighter” demonstration was given to familiarize the children what a firefighter looks and sounds like while wearing self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).  A home fire safety lesson was presented to familiarize the children with hazards around the home.  Fire Prevention materials were provided to each child to take home.  We would like to thank the Learning Center Preschool for giving us the opportunity to present these valuable fire prevention lessons, we had a great time!
