On Monday evening October 14^th, 2024 members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company attended one of our annual Driver Operator Training Recertification Classes.  Members were required to successfully complete a VFIS cone course as well as a pumping evolution.  This year we elected to use our new Engine Tanker 84-4 to give our drivers some hands-on time with our newest piece of apparatus.  Assistant Chief Guy Rickards, DSFS Instructor Craig Farren, Past Chief Engineer Dave Carr and Senior Career Firefighter A. Wallace Evans supervised the training.  Fire Police Captain Bill Bowden Sr. was instrumental in setting up the cone course and providing the needed logistics to make this training session run smoothly.  We would like to thank the Delaware State Fire School for providing professional oversite over this important training.
