Automatic Fire Alarm in Millville by the Sea

On Tuesday evening November 5th, 2024 at 1848 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm in the 36000 block of Calm Water Drive in the Millville by the Sea development. Units arrived to find a smoke detector activated due to steam from a shower. Engine 84-4, Engine 84-6 and Traffic Control 84-13 made the response. Units operated for approximately 15 minutes. Fire Chief Walter Johnson had command of the incident.
