Automatic Fire Alarm on Tupelo Circle

On Saturday November 9th, 2024 at 0857 hours, after clearing an earlier MVC, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to an automatic fire alarm in the 35000 block of Tupelo Circle in Millville. Units arrived to find a large three story garden apartment building with an active alarm sounding. The alarm was determined to be a malfunction of the sprinkler system. Engine 84-6 and Engine 84-4 made the response. Units operated for approximately 15 minutes. Past Assistant Chief Mike Melson had command of the incident.
