On Veterans Day, Monday November 11^th, 2024 a contingent of members from the Millville Volunteer Fire Company, led by President Greg Hocker, attended a Veterans Day Ceremony held at the Bishops Landing Development.  Community members, along with our members, took time to remember and honor the members of the armed forces, past and present, on this day of remembrance.

During the ceremony President Hocker was presented a check in the amount of $700.00 from the Bishop Landing Ladies Luncheon Group in support of both our fire and EMS operations.  In addition, on behalf of the MVFC, FF/EMT Austin Fannin received a check in the amount of $125.00 from the Bishops Landing Community Association Inc. to support our EMS operations and to thank our crews for teaching CPR to a group of residents of Bishops Landing.  As always, the MVFC is thankful for the continued support from the Bishops Landing Community.  In addition, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company is very appreciative of the invitation to attend.  Photos by Deputy Chief Paul Sterling
