The Millville Volunteer Fire Company would like to congratulate Firefighter Ryan Walter for his successful completion of Delaware State Fire School’s Firefighter I – II Program.  During the class Ryan received his Pro-Board certifications in NFPA Firefighter 1 & 2, NFPA Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations, NFPA Vehicle Rescue Technician, and CPR/AED/First Aid.

On Saturday December 21st, 2024 the Delaware State Fire School held a graduation ceremony for the program.  The program is an academy style, 168-hour program, conducted over the last 3 months.

Fire Chief Walter Johnson and Ryan’s family were in attendance for today’s ceremony.  We are proud of Ryan’s accomplishments and the company will benefit from Ryan’s new found knowledge and skill set.  Great Job Ryan!
