We just wrapped up our annual Outdoorsman Marketplace Event Saturday Jan 4. It was a well attended event to support our Capital Campaign Fund Raising efforts. This is the last year of a 5yr Captial fund raising campaign. The money is used to acquire, update, and maintain the appartus and equipment we use and need to serve the community. Having updated and well maintained apparatus is crucial to our effectiveness and safety. These funds are so important to the operation of our Fire Company. 

This years event was well attended despite the cold temperatures! We had 27 local vendors representing Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Boating, and more! We also had 6 Gold Sponsors and 7 Silver Sponsors. Click here for a full list of Sponsors and Vendors. While at the show, participants enjoyed winning door prizes donated by our Sponsors, Vendors, and Local Businesses. We were drawing door prizes every 15 min or so! The Gun Raffles are always a big hit and we had 3 raffles. Outdoors we had Campers, Boats, and Trailers on display. Indoors we had wonderful vendor booths with all the latest outdoor gear we had music by DJ Brian K Hall and food provided and served by our Ladies Auxilliary and even had Chief Johnson on the grill cooking burgers, dogs and breakfast sandwiches.

Our President Greg Hocker and VFF Marc Bognar were interviewed by CoastLifeTV and that aired on WBOC, additionally we had an appearace by Jason Lee of Outdoors Delmava filming video for future events! 

This year was the first year we managed the event on our own, previously we have used 3rd party vendor to manage the event. Many lessons learned and we are very pleased with the outcome and look forward to next years event!
