Today Millville Vol Fire Co. got the opportunity to provide training that simply is impossible to do without the cooperation of mother nature. This afternoon Deputy Chief Richards conducted Ice Rescue training. The training started indoors with some classroom work and skills review. The crew then moved to Millville Pond to conduct on-ice/in-water training to demonstrate and practice the skills learned. We had a great turn out from our volunteers and career staff folks.
