On Sunday May 2nd, members of the Millville Dive Team participated in two underwater search and recovery operations. Members were given two scenario?s where they had to navigate the murky water searching for a fake victim, played by our own Rescue Randy, a 165 pound fire rescue manikin. Both evolutions were a success and the victim was located and removed from the water. Members were able to also practice underwater compass navigation as well as pendulum and circumferential search patterns. Dive tenders and Boat operators were also able to practice their skills during these evolutions.
