Building Fire - Brandywine House, Sea Colony

On Monday July 12th at approx 2250hrs, the MVFC along with the Rehoboth Beach VFC and Sussex County Paramedics were dispatched to assist the Bethany Beach VFC with a reported building fire at the Brandywine House in Sea Colony just east of Coastal Highway. The MVFC responded with E84-2, E84-4 and Rescue84 with a total staffing of 20 firefighters. Various crews assisted the BBVFC with the investigation of an odor of smoke on an upper floor while other crews completed standpipe and water supply connections. An isolated problem was found in the air conditioning unit of a condo. Command placed the situation under control and units were released as ready.
