The MVFC conducted a drill on July 13th using the NEW hydrant located at the Cripple Creek Golf and Country Club. Members attached a humat valve to the hydrant (which would normally be used to boost the pressure by another engine to the fire scene) and flowed various stream patterns via hand-lines as well as master stream appliances. The MVFC is very pleased with this new hydrant and it will definately assist in fire operations if an incident should occur in the development.
