On August 19th, the MVFC responded to a reported Propane Leak from a delivery vehicle. On arrival units found that the propane saddle tank on a Schwan's Home Delivery Truck had a leaking relief valve. The valve problem was corrected and reset. The appreciative driver donated a box of Ice Cream Sandwiches to the crews for their rescue efforts, saving the rest of his daily deliveries. Truck Lt. Kauffman had the command.
