FireFighter Combat Challenge - Station 84

On Tuesday night Sept. 27th the MVFC members participated in a Firefighter Combat Challenge drill that tested their strength, stamina and quickness completing various firefighting tasks.
The competitors had to carry a high rise hose pack up an elevated ladder truck, placing it in the bucket they then hand pulled a 4 inch piece of LDH hose up 35ft placing it in the bucket before descending to the ground. Once on the ground the competitors used a shot mallet to drive a weighted metal beam 3ft on a sled, then fast walking around a cone obstacle course, pulling a 100ft section of 1-3/4 inch hose 100ft opening the nozzle flowing water and hitting a target. Lastly the competitors had to drag a 160lb Rescue Randy 50ft to the finish line.
