On Wednesday night the MVFC was dispatched to assist Sta. 70 with a reported working structure fire in the Lake Bethany Community. Quint 70 and Truck 84 arrived simultaneously to find a small fire on the exterior of the residence with obvious extension into the wood siding. Truck 84's crew worked to open up the interior walls while the Quint's crew secured utilities and wet down the smoldering materials. Units overhauled the remaining garage area and the scene was turned over to the DSFM for the investigation. Lt. Wisseman 70-23 had Command and Capt. Hammond 84-19 had the accountability.
