Renovations Begin - 84 Station 2

April 15, 2006

On Saturday April 15th members of the MVFC started the renovation process at the site of our new sub-station. Approval was granted by the State Fire Commission earlier this year for the additional station and the MVFC is currently waiting for County and State permits. The facility was once used to store farm equipment and after renovations are complete it will house an engine and utility vehicle, throughout the trial phase. Should the sub-station work effectively than additional work will be done on the facility to make it a more permanent operational site. Initial work being completed is electric, replacing the front doors with a garage style door, flooring and cleaning up of the entire property.
