On Saturday December 2 at 2:37 p.m., the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Vines Creek and Sandy Landing Roads. The ambulance crew and firefighters arrived to an accident involving a motor vehicle and a boat. Ambulance personnel provided initial treatment at the scene to the driver of the Explorer. The Delaware State Police helicopter then flew the driver to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury for further treatment. Chief Graig Temple was the officer in charge of the accident scene.
