Two Vehicle Accident Involving A Deer - Roxana Road

On Sunday February 11 at 8:35 p.m., the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Roxana Road. The ambulance crew and firefighters arrived to a two-vehicle accident that also involved a deer. A compact car traveling north on Roxana Road impacted a full size car. The operator of the full size car had struck a deer and was stopped in the middle of the road with its lights off. The occupants of both vehicles refused treatment at the scene. Truck Captain Eric Huovinen turned the accident scene over to the Delaware State Police for investigation. "DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS PROUDLY SERVING OUR COMMUNITY"
