On Wednesday June 27 at 2:01 p.m., Millville Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance C84 was dispatched along with the Sussex County Paramedics to a resident in the Banks Harbor Retreat development having diabetic problems.   The attending medical personnel determined the patient should be flown to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland for more expedient and additional treatment.   At 2:18 p.m. the Millville Volunteer Fire Company received the dispatch to establish a landing zone at Station 1 on Atlantic Avenue for the Delaware State Police medical helicopter Trooper 2.   Chief Doug Scott oversaw the logistics of the landing zone task.
