Beginning at 2:47 p.m. the members would respond to four more alarms in a little less than a four-hour period. At 2:47 p.m. the members were in service for seven minutes for an automatic fire alarm in the 700 block of Fox Tail Drive in The Salt Pond. This was followed by an electrical hazard call in the 200 block of Willow Oak Avenue in Bear Trap Dunes at 4:13 p.m. A small fire occurred around the water heater of a residence being rented by vacationers. The time in service was 32 minutes. Activity continued with a service call at 6:22 p.m. at the parking lot of the Ocean View Deli for an infant locked in a vehicle. Chief Doug Scott quickly gained access to the vehicle through use of the Big Easy tool, greatly relieving a stressed mother. While the units were returning to the station, they were dispatched to their last alarm of the day at 6:25 p.m., a washdown at an accident scene at Atlantic and Central Avenues. Units were in service for 18 minutes.
