Millville VFC held its third No Limit Texas Holdem poker tournament of the year and it was a great success. With a total of 96 entrants, there was $6750 in prize money given to the top 9 finishers. All monies earned from the tournament are placed in our Building Fund for capital improvements.

In addition, one person was awarded a satellite entry to the 2007 U.S. Poker Championship tournament to be held at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. Mark Bathon won that seat.

 

Unfortunately, under Delaware law, we are only allowed to hold three tournaments in a calendar year and this was the third. Stay tuned! There will be more to come beginning in 2008!
