The Bethany Beach and Millville Volunteer Fire Companies are proud to announce the following students as State winners in the annual Fire Prevention Essay and Poster Contest. At the fourth grade level, Bridget Brown was First Place in the essay contest, while Robert Shortlidge, garnered Third Place in the ILC essay contest. Marina Travalini took home Third Place honors in the fifth grade essay contest. All State winners in the Fire Prevention Essay and Poster Contest were honored the afternoon of Sunday, December 9, at the Delaware State Fire School in Dover. A special thanks from all of the members of the Bethany Beach and Millville Volunteer Fire Companies goes out to all of the students, staff and parents of Lord Baltimore Elementary for their continued support of the annual Fire Prevention Program.
