Truck Lieutenant Greg Hocker Receives The Josh M. Freeman Valor Award - Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce

At a ceremony held on February 6, 2009, Millville Volunteer Fire Company Truck Lieutenant Greg Hocker received the Josh M. Freeman Valor Award while attending the annual Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce awards luncheon sponsored by Carl M. Freeman Companies at the Cripple Creek Golf and Country Club in Dagsboro. Millville Volunteer Fire Company Chief Shawn Evans nominated Greg Hocker for the prestigious Joshua M. Freeman Valor Award, and the members are very proud to have Greg as part of the organization. Greg has been a member of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company since 2002, and he has always been one of the company’s top responders. This year Greg Hocker has been appointed to the position of Truck Lieutenant and has been assigned to help with the operational readiness of the fire company. All members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company appreciate the dedication Truck Lieutenant Hocker has shown towards his volunteer position, and we congratulate Greg Hocker for receiving the Joshua M. Freeman Valor Award.
