At 8:43 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a structure fire at the Pavilion on October Glory Avenue in the Village At Bear Trap. The responders arrived to a power washer in the outside pool area that caught on fire while being refueled by maintenance workers. The fire was quickly extinguished with damage being confined to the piece of equipment. Neither of the maintenance workers was injured in the incident. Truck Captain Eric Huovinen declared the situation under control at 8:54 a.m. “DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS PROUDLY SERVING OUR COMMUNITY”
