On Saturday June 6 at 8:27a.m., the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the 36000 Block of Double Bridges Road. The firefighters arrived to a single vehicle accident involving a small pickup truck. As the operator of the motor vehicle was traveling south on Double Bridges Road, he went off the right side of the road impacting a tree and then overturning in a ditch. The operator of the vehicle exited the vehicle by himself and was on the porch of a nearby residence when the responders arrived. He received initial treatment at the scene by the Millville medical crew, and was then transported to the Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. Rescue Captain R.C.
