At 11:21 a.m. on Wednesday, January 13, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a brush fire in the 700 Block of Cedar Neck Road. The responders arrived to a controlled burn that started to get away from the owner. Firefighters extinguished the blaze and wet down the surrounding area. Truck Lieutenant Greg Hocker declared the situation under control at 11:39 a.m. “DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS PROUDLY SERVING OUR COMMUNITY”
