Lord Baltimore Elementary Students Win State Fire Prevention Contest Awards - Cheswold Volunteer Fire Company

The Bethany Beach and Millville Volunteer Fire Companies are proud to announce the following students as 2009 State winners in the annual Fire Prevention Essay and Poster Contest. At the third grade level, Logan Daisey won Second Place in the special topic poster contest. Kara Scarangella garnered First Place in the fourth grade essay contest, while Fifth grader Jordan Watson took home First Place honors in the special topic essay contest. All State winners in the Fire Prevention Essay and Poster Contest were honored the afternoon of Sunday, January 17 at the annual awards ceremony held at the Cheswold Volunteer Fire Company. A special thanks from all of the members of the Bethany Beach and Millville Volunteer Fire Companies goes out to all of the students, staff and parents of Lord Baltimore Elementary for their continued support of the annual Fire Prevention Program.
