Water Search - Cape Windsor, Fenwick Island

On Saturday, March 3, 2012, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched along with the Delaware Marine Police, Delaware State Police Helicopter Trooper 2, and the Roxana, Bethany Beach, Selbyville, and Millsboro Fire Companies to continue the search for a missing canoeist who fell into the Assawoman Bay after his canoe capsized on Friday, March 2, at approximately 4 a.m.  A second person in the canoe was able to swim to safety.  Officials have suspended the search for the missing canoeist after Saturday’s search did not prove to be successful.
