2-Vehicle Accident With Reported Rollover - Roxana & Burbage Roads, Millville

On Thursday, April 12 at 5:29 p.m., the Millville Volunteer Fire Company, Sussex County Paramedics and Delaware State Police Medical Helicopter Trooper 2 were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident with a reported rollover at the intersection of Roxana and Burbage Roads. The medical personnel and firefighters arrived to a two-vehicle accident involving a Ford pickup and another pickup towing a small excavator. Millville Assistant Chief Doug Scott quickly evaluated the situation noting there was no rollover with all occupants out of their vehicles. Since none of the occupants required transportation to an area hospital for treatment of injuries, the advanced life support units were cancelled. Assistant Chief Scott declared the situation under control at 5:43 p.m. and turned the scene over to the Delaware State Police for investigation.
