On Saturday November 10 at 11:11 a.m., the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the 32000 Block of Roxana Road. The ambulance crew and firefighters arrived to a two-vehicle accident involving a Nissan car and Ford pickup. No special extrication was necessary for the operator and occupants of either vehicle. Additional ambulances were requested from the Bethany Beach and Roxana Fire Companies. Initial care was provided at the scene by medical personnel. Two of the occupants were transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries for additional evaluation. Assistant Chief Doug Scott declared the situation under control at 11:44 a.m. and turned the scene over to the Delaware State Police for investigation. “DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS PROUDLY SERVING OUR COMMUNITY”
