2-Vehicle Accident - 32000 Block Omar Road

On Monday, September 2, 2013 at 2:13 p.m., the Millville Volunteer Fire Company and Sussex County Paramedics were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident in the 32000 block of Omar Road. Units began responding within two minutes of the dispatch. The medical personnel and firefighters arrived to a two-vehicle accident involving a Honda car and a KIA passenger van. Millville Fire Chief Bob Magee assigned medical personnel to the occupants of each vehicle who were already out of their vehicles. The driver of the Honda was transported to Beebe Hospital in Lewes, while the driver and two children in the KIA were transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. There were no life threatening injuries to any of the occupants. Fire Chief Bob Magee declared the situation under control at 3:01 p.m. and turned the scene over to the Delaware State Police for investigation. “DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS PROUDLY SERVING OUR COMMUNITY”
