On Friday, May 30, 2014 at 2:15 p.m., the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a 2-vehicle MVC at Atlantic and Central Avenues in Ocean View near the CVS pharmacy.  The responders arrived to an accident in which a Ford pickup was rearended by another Ford pickup.  The passenger in the first vehicle was transported to Beebe Medical Center in Lewes with nonlife-threatening injuries.  The operators of both vehicles were both checked at the scene by the medical personnel and refused additonal treatment.  Assistant Chief Cody Lockwood declared the situation under control at 2:26 p.m. and turned the scene over to the Ocean View and Delaware State Police departments.
