POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

FULL TIME FIREFIGHTER/NREMT-B

The Millville Volunteer Fire Company Inc. is accepting applications for the position of Full Time Firefighter/EMT. The position involves responding to all fire and EMS emergencies within and around the Millville Fire District. The work shift is a 4 on 4 off 12 hour day shift schedule for Full Time.

Minimum requirements for application

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         Must be at least 18 years of age

·         Hold a current NREMT-B card and a Delaware EMT Card

·         Hold a current AED and CPR Certificates

·         Have a valid Delaware Drivers License

·         Have a valid emergency vehicle operators license

·         Have Basic, Structural, Haz-mat, Vehicle Rescue, Driver Operator Certificates

·         Must be able to lift (150lbs) with one partner

·         Must pass a multiple choice fire/ems test and a practical exam

·         Be able to pass a physical agility test
