On Thursday, April 29 at 1116 hours, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a smoke investigation on Dukes drive in the vicinity of the fire station. 84 Command responded immediately to the call and was followed by Engine 1, Brush Truck 84-0, Engine 6, and Ambulance B-84. The firefighters arrived to two open burn piles in a field, which were quickly extinguished.
