On Monday, April 17, 2017, at 1300 hours, your Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the 35000 block of Privy Lane in The Meadows at Bayard subdivision to assist Roxana VFC for a structure (house) fire. The primary arriving fire units immediately notified other responding units that smoke was showing indicating it was a working fire. A 2nd. Alarm was requested. In addition to Millville VFC, Bethany Beach VFC, Selbyville VFC, Sussex County Medic Unit 105, several Fire-Police and Fire Marshall were also dispatched. I am happy to report that no injuries were sustained by any party.
