On Father’s Day, 18 June 2017, at 1149 hours, your Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond to the Unit Block of Mooring Lane for an alarm sounding at a residence. 

Upon the arrival of Engine 84, it was quickly realized the occupant had accidentally burned food in the oven. No damage was sustained in the home, but the MVFC firefighters assisted the homeowners by ventilating their home to clear it of smoke and the odor.

Engine 84-2, Ambulance 84, along with several Fire-Police were at the scene.
