On Sunday, 20 August 2017, at 1651 hours, your Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond to a Structure Fire in the 31000 block of Duane Drive in Frankford, Delaware. This residence is located in the Harmony Heights subdivision. Due to this subdivision being non-hydraded, 4 tractor-trailer tank trucks holding upwards of 7000 gallons of water each was dispatched to provide an adequate water supply.

Along with MVFC, Dagsboro, Roxana, and Frankford Volunteer Fire Company’s assisted. 
Sussex County Paramedic Unit 103 was dispatched along with an ambulance for any injury’s that could occur with a fire of this type. Millville VFC sent a large contingent of Fire Police to maintain traffic and crowd control.
