On Tuesday, 29 August 2017 at 2108 hours, your Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted and subsequently responded to the intersection of Atlantic and Woodland Avenues for a vehicular collision. MVFC committed the Rescue Pumper, Ambulance, and several Fire Police. Additionally, Sussex County Paramedic Unit 105 responded to this event to render aid to the injured.
This was a lone vehicle collision that struck a pedacyclist. The bicycle rider was transported to a local medical facility for further treatment.
This vehicular event was commanded by Andrew Klink. Fire-Police consisted of Harold Lloyd and Harry Warburton.
This investigation was tasked to Officer First Class Nick Harrington, Ocean View Police Department. Any charges are pending his investigation of the facts.
It was raining quite hard at the time, wish all the first responders remain safe while driving tonight.
