Roxana Road Vehicular Collision

On Monday afternoon, 15 January 2018, at 1448 hours, your Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched by Sussex County EOC to the 33000 block of Roxana Road for a vehicular collision.

An SUV was northbound on Roxana Road and left the paved roadway and collided with a tree and brush. The roadway was wet and snowing at the time. I can happily report the driver sustained no injury that required transport to a medical facility.

Rescue 84, along with Ambulance A-84 were assigned to this event. Chief Richie Walls was in command of the situation.

Your Fire-Police once again withstood the elements of today’s weather in diverting traffic around the crash site.

Delaware State Police are investigating this collision.
