On Tuesday afternoon, 16 January 2018, at 1327 hours, your Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched by Sussex County EOC for a residential alarm sounding 20010 block of Cormorant Way, in the Bay Forrest subdivision. 

MVFC responded with 2 pumpers, 84-2, and 84-2, operated by pump operator’s, Dennis Ayres and John Stephens respectively.  A small contingent of MVFC Fire-Police responded due to the confined area where this home was located.

After utilizing electronic monitoring devices, it was deemed that no emergency existed and the alarm was reset.
