On Saturday, 3 March 2018, at 1621 hours, your Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted by Sussex County EOC to respond to the unit block of Village Green Drive in the Bear Trap Dunes subdivision for an alarm sounding.

Millville VFC responded with Engine 84-2, 84-6, and Medic 84.  Fire Police Captain Jack Melson had several of his units strategically positioned throughout Bear Trap Dunes to minimize the vehicular traffic around the fire apparatus.

Joe Vonakis, fire officer of 84-6 believes it was accidental in nature.  No damage or injury was incurred at this event.
