On Thursday, 10 May 2018, 1533 hours, your Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted by Sussex County EOC for a Brush Fire in the 31000 block of West Ocean Drive in Dagsboro.

Engine 2, Engine 6, Brush 84 responded along with several Fire-Police.  It appeared a fire-pit had reignited.  The fire was quickly extinguished.  Delaware State Fire Marshal was requested and responded to conduct their investigation. 

There were no reported injuries.  Lt. Greg Hocker commanded today’s fire event.
