Assistant Chief Walt Johnson was nominated by Chief Rickards for his outstanding performance over the past few years in both high-call responses and in recruiting and retaining many experienced members.
Firefighter/EMT Tyler Hickman was nominated by EMS Chief John Watson for the frequent Phoenix Awards he has garnered over the years and for volunteering to take on supplementary firehouse responsibilities when requested.
I understand this is a very prestigious award to attain. Kudos to Tyler and Walt!
