On November 19th, 2021 at 1217 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident on Roxana Road in the area of Waters Edge Way in Millville. While enroute, the call was upgraded for possible entrapment adding Rescue 90 (Roxana VFC) and Delaware State Police Aviation Trooper 2. Upon arrival units found a two vehicle accident with one patient inconvenienced and unable to get out of their drivers side door. The drivers side door was removed by the crew of Rescue 84 allowing the patient to exit the vehicle. Medical personnel removed the patient to a waiting ambulance and conducted a thorough medical evaluation. The patient refused transportation to a medical facility. Millville and Roxana fire police assisted with traffic control unit the vehicles could be removed from the roadway. Rescue 84, Engine 84-4, Engine 84-2, Ambulance C-84 and Sussex County Paramedics made the response. Units operated for approximately 30 minutes.
