CHILI COOK-OFF RESCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY FEBRUARY 12^TH, 2022 AT 1100 HOURS HELD AT THE MILLVILLE COMMUNITY CENTER AT EVANS PARK, DUKES DRIVE, MILLVILLE, DELAWARE.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Due to the impending winter storm, the Fire & Ice Festival that was scheduled on January 28^th & 29^th has been rescheduled for February 11^th & 12^{th. .}

The rescheduled event on February 11^th & 12^th will be a carbon copy of the previously planned event. 

The chamber has advised, a survey will be sent out to all Chili Cook-off ticket holders letting them know about the event date change. They will have until next Wednesday, February 2^nd to choose how they want to proceed with their ticket purchase.  Option A: transfer their ticket to the new date; Option B: cancel their ticket purchase and receive a refund; Option C: cancel their ticket purchase allowing the fire department to retain the ticket proceeds as a donation.  The Chamber will process all refunds for those individuals wishing to cancel their ticket purchase and receive a refunds. Refunds will start being processed on Thursday, February 3^rd.   Chili Cook-off ticket sales will re-open for the new event date on Thursday, February 3^rd.

Celebrate Fire & Ice weekend with a Rockin’ chili cook-off and a little friendly competition. Warm-up and try some of the best-tasting chili in the area from over 25 contestants. Chili will be judged with 3 categories:

Meat, Bean, and Vegan plus a Peoples Choice Award.

Ticket includes Chili tasting, cornbread and saltines, your choice of beverage (water, soda, tea), $ beer, ice sculpture, and a commemorative beer koozie with the Fire & Ice, Millville Fire Company, Town of Millville logos, and some Rock ‘n’ Roll. Tickets also serve as raffle tickets towards the SOLO Fire Pit donated by Banks Wines & Spirits. All ticket sales will benefit Millville Volunteer Department.
