MVFC assist Rehoboth Beach VFC in Dewey Beach

On Saturday April 16th, 2022 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company assisted the Rehoboth Beach VFC with several houses on fire in the 1900 block of Bayard Street in Dewey Beach. Engine 84-2 under the direction of Chief Guy Rickards made the response. Units operated for over 3 hours assisting with fire suppression and overhaul. Prior to arrival of the fire company a Dewey Beach Police Officer was credited to alerting multiple occupants and guiding them to safety.
