On Saturday April 16^th, 2022 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company assisted the Rehoboth Beach VFC with several houses on fire in the 1900 block of Bayard Street in Dewey Beach.  Engine 84-2 under the direction of Chief Guy Rickards made the response.  Units operated for over 3 hours assisting with fire suppression and overhaul.  Prior to arrival of the fire company a Dewey Beach Police Officer was credited to alerting multiple occupants and guiding them to safety.
